MISSION MINISTRY

Our Mission team is
involved in two divisions: |
|
International Missions:
Women’s Missionary Society (WMS),
MVP Teams (Mission Volunteer Program) |
|
Local Missions:
Basket Ministry,
Men’s Ministry, Family Life
Center (the Lighthouse) Ministries, Van Ministry. |
|
Kay Drozak is the Missions
ministry leader.
|
|
“But you will
receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
|
|

|
|
As
believers, we have received power from the Holy Spirit to go forth and share the
message and love of Jesus Christ with the world. Sharing Christ with the world
is our greatest privilege.
|
|
Here
are some ways Cool Springs Church is making an impact through
|
|
International Missions:
|
|
· We financially
support 9 full-time missionaries serving around the world.
|
|
· At various times of
the year, we give special offerings to missionaries and their missions projects.
|
|
· We financially
support 5 children in the General Baptist orphanage called Faith Home in
Honduras.
|
|
· Supporting Gideon’s
International
|
|
· From time to time,
members of our church will serve on short-term mission efforts through the
General Baptist denomination called “MVP Teams.”
|
|
Cool
Springs Church also witnesses for Christ right here in our local area through
HOME Missions. Below are some ways we make an impact:

providing transportation to Church

· Supporting Project
Prom at Butler Co. High School

|
· Supporting the
IMPACT Club at Butler Co. High School

|
· Supporting the
Family Resources Center in Butler Co.

· Supporting the Boys
and Girls Club
|
|
· Supporting the
Butler County Ministerial Association and the Morgantown Mission which helps
those in need in the community.

· Supporting
Compassionate Care An Adoption Ministry through General Baptist Ministries.

Local Missions:

· Serve in the Basket
Ministry on Wednesday mornings

· Volunteer to drive
in the Van Ministry
|
|
· Support the Mission
efforts financially

· Communicate
Missions, both International and Home to others and build support
