CHRISTIAN EDUCATION MINISTRY

Christian Education team will work to offer direction and training for teachers, curriculum, and growth. They also will organize quarterly seminars for Church and Community and develop a Resource Library.

God’s Great Commission commands us to make disciples of all nations.  As we reach out to the communities and the lost, we need to be grounded in the truth of the Holy Scripture.  In doing so, we can become energized and energize those around us to share the news of Jesus Christ with everyone and live out our Christian calling to the world.

The vision of this ministry is to equip Christians by helping them become grounded in sound biblical doctrine through Sunday School, quarterly seminars, and a resource library.  Sunday School is an opportunity for each one to become part of a weekly group with a focused study of God’s Word.  The quarterly seminars will provide opportunities to learn about special topics of interest to church members.  The resource library will maintain a variety of resources including a wealth of Christian literature and study materials, DVD’s, computer access and Christian music.

The Christian Education Ministry Areas:

·  Seek out materials and educational resources.  The coordinator communicates with all ministries associated with Christian Education (Sunday School, Homes small groups, youth/student ministry, audio and video) and assist them in locating and acquiring materials. 

·   Seeks members of the church or outside Christian resources to provide quarterly guest speakers and presentations.

 ·  A Librarian oversees organization and maintenance of our educational materials.  They use technology to assist with locating and researching resources as well as maintaining up to date records on those items in the library.

We want our church to be a place where people can be taught and grow.  Who better to learn form than the Master teacher himself…Jesus Christ?  You can bring Jesus’ love and God’s precious Word to the people of this community through this ministry.
