Children’s Ministry

The mission of the Children's Ministry Team here at Cool Springs Church is teaching kids to rely on Christ the King.  With God's word as our highest priority the Children's Ministry is designed in such a way that kids learn at their own level.  We strive to help children become their best for God.  Everything we do - policies, procedures, curriculum selection, and training teachers is done with our mission in mind and covered with prayer.

The Children's Ministry at Cool Springs involves children ages 6 weeks thru 8th grade.

What is the Children’s Ministry Involved in?   (When and Where)

·         Nursery Ministry

The nursery is located on the first floor of the family life center.  This program allows parents to enter into their worship experience secure in the knowledge that their children are safe and learning about Gods love for them.  Parents will complete a 3 part security identification label, and then a pager is given to the parent in case your child should need you during service.  Parents will receive a copy of our policies and procedures before registering their child.
Sunday morning schedule 8:15 am nursery care available for ages 6 weeks to age 2
Sunday morning schedule 10:00 am nursery care available for ages 6 weeks to age 2
Sunday night schedule 6:00 pm nursery care available for ages 6 weeks to age 2
Wednesday night schedule 6:30 pm nursery care available for ages 6 weeks to age

·         Children’s Church

The voyage is offered on Sunday mornings at 11:15 am for children ages 3 and 4.  This is located downstairs adjacent to the sanctuary.  Children meet together to hear a bible story, sing songs and play games.

The Made For Praise Choir is offered Sunday mornings at 11:15 am for children kindergarten thru 3rd grade.  They meet in the Sanctuary.  We believe deeply in the importance of teaching our children they can praise and worship Jesus thru music.

·         The R.O.C.K. Wednesday Evening Program

The Rock Wednesday evening program is offered every Wednesday night from 6:30 pm till 8:00 pm for children ages 6 weeks thru 8th grade.  After children check in, we provided a meal for them.  We then proceed to the sanctuary for a time of prayer, praise and worship. After worship children are then dismissed to class where they are taught God's word at their own level.

This class provides childcare of nursery - 2 years age children a loving atmosphere.

Wee Spirits          RM 4-B
This class provides a loving and caring atmosphere for ages 2 -  3 yrs old to learn  about Jesus Christ.

Youth Age Classes
Little Angels      RM 5-B
This class provides an atmosphere where 4-5 yr olds can grow and  understand  the love of Jesus.

Lambs of God   (1st Grade) RM 6-B
Provides a good Biblical foundation for your 1st Grade Child.
Teachers:  Amy Rice & Jodi Mullins

Lambs of God (2nd  Grade) RM 7-B
Provides a good Biblical foundation for your 2nd Grade Child.

The Warriors (3rd & 4th grade Boys)    RM 8-B
This class encourages your 3rd Grade Boys to start learning about Jesus in a new and exciting way.

The Crossing       (High School)     RM  9–A
This class is for High School Students to discover and develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Creative Ministry

At Cool Springs Church, we offer two forms of Creative Ministry.  The first is Creative Praise (Interpretative Movement).  This is a form of worship and praise that involves different types of hand movements to a particular worship song.  The second is Drama/Musical.  the drama consists of skits and musicals that are presented twice a year; late spring/early summer and christmas.  The primary goal of the Creative Ministries is the spiritual growth and development of each child.  Music and drama are simply the medium we use to accomplish that goal.  The spiritual condition of each child is always our primary concern.

·         Sunday School Bible Classes:
Sunday School is 10:00am to 10:40am every Sunday.

Why does Cool Springs Church offer Children’s Ministry?
Psalms 127:3 wonderfully explains that children are both a reward and a gift of the Lord.  We don't just believe that our children are the "church of tomorrow".  We believe they are the "church of today", and are of great value to the body of Christ.  We are excited to have the opportunity to serve you and your child here at Cool Springs General Baptist Church.
