How to become a Christian

If you were to stand
before God today and He asked you the question,

|
"Why
should I let you into Heaven?" What would your answer
be???
|
|
The Bible teaches us the
not good deeds, clean living, giving to the poor,
|
|
nor
can any other action we can take, get us into Heaven.
|
|
In
fact, Heaven is beyond our reach. That is why God sent
His only son to take our
|
|
place on the cross.
|
|
John 3:16-17:
" For God so loved the world
the He gave His only begotten Son,
|
|
that whoever believes
in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
"
|
|
Jesus paid the debt that
we could not pay. Jesus Christ has opened the door for
|
|
us to get to God and to Heaven.
|
|
John 14:6:
" Jesus said to him, "I am the
way, the truth, and the life.
|
|
No one comes to the Father
except through Me. "
|
|
Through Jesus Christ You

A). Admit that
you are a sinner.
|
|
Romans
3:23:
" For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of
God. "

B). Believe
that God sent Jesus to take your punishment and pay for
your sins.
|

John 1:12:
" Yet to all who received him,
to those who believed in his name,
|
|
he gave the right to
become children of God. "
|
|
C). Confess
that you have sinned, ask for His forgiveness and commit
your whole heart,
|
|
mind and life to following Jesus
Christ and His Word.

Romans
10:9-10:
" That if you confess with your
mouth, Jesus is Lord,
|
|
and believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
|
|
For it is
with your heart that you believe and are justified, and
it is with your
|
|
mouth that you confess and are saved.
"
